Imperial Brown delivered a 45-foot long cold storage chamber to a Southern California company that works with diagnostic and life science industries in the collection and manufacture of biological products. The unit is kept at a consistent -25 degrees C (-13 degrees F).
The work of Imperial Brown in the pharmaceutical industry is exacting. Each chamber must function at plus or minus half a degree for cold storage of pharmaceuticals. Specs are stringent and units must fit perfectly with precision sealing. Since this project is located in Southern California with its earthquake potential, the walls of the chamber are seismically restrained at the floor and ceiling.
